A Few of My Favorite Things March

Teaching Trio's Favorite Things Linky is such a fun party. Let's get it started!

I am choosing birthday party themes this month. Why? I don't know. But I do know I love to throw a party. I love the planning, the decorating, even the cleaning up. So much fun!!!
My kids are no longer little (boo-hoo), but they have had some fun birthday parties in the past.
Construction, Archaeologists, Fishing, such great parties.

Audrey's scavenger party was a hit. Two girl-filled vans racing to find the list items first. They ran into restaurants for take-out menus, got signatures of the oldest people met, took pictures of license plates from far away. To this day, every time we pass a certain church the kids say, "You know that parking lot has 56 parking spots." Such a good time!

Emily's color party was memorable, not for the colorful decorations or the cute, color-coded games; but for the many phone calls I had to make after the party because one of the moms called the next morning to say her two boys woke up with the chicken pox!

My kids grew up pre-Pinterest, so think how easy it is today to plan a party. Wow! So many neat party pins to click on, Let's just say I will be ready when those grandbabies start arriving.

Didn't we all want to be astronauts?
