A Few of My Favorite Things March

Teaching Trio's Favorite Things Linky is such a fun party. Let's get it started!

I am choosing birthday party themes this month. Why? I don't know. But I do know I love to throw a party. I love the planning, the decorating, even the cleaning up. So much fun!!!
My kids are no longer little (boo-hoo), but they have had some fun birthday parties in the past.
Construction, Archaeologists, Fishing, such great parties.

Audrey's scavenger party was a hit. Two girl-filled vans racing to find the list items first. They ran into restaurants for take-out menus, got signatures of the oldest people met, took pictures of license plates from far away. To this day, every time we pass a certain church the kids say, "You know that parking lot has 56 parking spots." Such a good time!

Emily's color party was memorable, not for the colorful decorations or the cute, color-coded games; but for the many phone calls I had to make after the party because one of the moms called the next morning to say her two boys woke up with the chicken pox!

My kids grew up pre-Pinterest, so think how easy it is today to plan a party. Wow! So many neat party pins to click on, Let's just say I will be ready when those grandbabies start arriving.

Just look at these cute ideas (Click on the images to be taken to the original Pinterest pin/link.):
I still have my old Red Ryder BB gun!
Didn't we all want to be astronauts?
Fairy Tales are magical!

Life is short; throw a party!!

March Pinterest Pick 3

This Pick 3 Linky is so much fun.
When I think of March, I think Springtime: birds chirping, flowers blooming...
I can't wait.
With that in mind, here are my 3 Picks for this month's Linky (Click on the images to be taken to the original Pinterest pin/link.):
A neat way to create spring flowers.
A fun activity when studying farms and farm animals.
And when we study farms, we throw in cowboys, too. Cowboy units are too much fun!

You can find my Spring items on my Pinterest Board here.

Don't forget to check out others' Pick 3's.

Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous March!!!

Sunday Scoop for March 1

Wow, March 1st; where did February go? Well, here's The Sunday Scoop for this week.

We have not had karate in so long because of the weather, so I still need to sign up to receive group karate texts, so I will know if anything comes up.

When Audrey first got her dog, Clooney, his owner told her Clooney was up to date on his shots. Since then we have come to realize nothing that owner said was true. So, to be on the safe side, we are taking Clooney to the rabies shot clinic Saturday.

SDE K Conference starts tomorrow, so I will put my store on sale 10%. I have never done an independent sale before. I might need to get a head start on this in case problems arise.

10% off

Late last fall I joined and listed several items on a FB yard sale page and made money to pay for Christmas. The girls have prom dresses and such that I now need to list.
I love yard sales – even online!
Poor Erik (and all the kids around here). This weather and being out of school for two weeks has really wreaked havoc with sleep schedules. But with the bad weather behind us (hope so anyway) we need to get back on track.

Speaking of schedules, I HAVE to get back into a normal groove with everything: sleeping, eating, and exercising. Easier said than done!

Head on over to Teaching Trio to see what everyone else is up to this week.

Currently March

Here we are in March - ALREADY!!

So let's celebrate with a party with Farley at Oh' Boy Fourth Grade.

Be sure and check out other Currently posts. Cannot wait to see others' Spring Break plans!
